Xetex played a major role in the design, development and deployment of a public key infrastructure that enabled our client to become the first Identrus certified Level-1 Financial Institution.

To automate the issuance and management of digital certificates, Xetex designed and implemented a suite of cooperating web applications integrated around a central X.500 directory. Xetex designed the directory schema and implemented a secure directory access library to facilitate the integration of the certificate management application suite with commercial smart card personalization and online certificate status products. Xetex assisted Computer-Associates with the design and integration of their directory based OCSP Responder product.

By providing a common directory infrastructure to streamline public key issuance, management, and operations, we have established a framework that facilitates interoperability among the vendors supporting our client in this initiative.
