Our consultants proposed, designed and developed an object-oriented API in C for NBCi that allowed them to quickly deploy a directory-based solution.

Using the Innosoft LDAP Directory Server and SDK, the API was used for accessing information and monitoring changes to a directory. This allowed NBCi to make a smooth transition to the directory from a legacy database.

After the specifications were determined, a stub library was produced on both Linux and Solaris to allow NBCi to begin developing applications around the API immediately. The library was replaced periodically with a new one after the functionality of each milestone had been implemented. Constant communication between NBCi and our consultants allowed us to address any issues that arose during the development process and allowed us to modify the API to meet the changing needs of their business.
